Great research deserves to be seen, shared and talked about.
As an AJ100 practice and recognised leader in Later Life Living, Cartwright Pickard wanted more than a report launch. The practice needed a long term awareness strategy that would maximise the value of its research, build sector wide engagement and establish a lasting conversation around the future of Later Life Living.
Our first collaboration centred on Cartwright Pickard's BIM Level 7 research, exploring the lifecycle of building products and processes to support the transition towards net zero buildings. CONCRETE developed a launch strategy that extended far beyond the event itself, securing widespread industry press coverage, multiple publication features and an opinion piece in Property Week to coincide with Net Zero Week. The campaign significantly increased the visibility of the research, strengthened industry engagement and supported the practice in securing further funding to continue its work.
The success of this campaign has led to an ongoing retained partnership, with CONCRETE continuing to support Cartwright Pickard's PR, communications and thought leadership strategy, including its international Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) research into Later Life Living.
Rather than simply publishing the findings, CONCRETE transformed the research into a sector wide conversation. We conceived a one day industry conference, secured Building Magazine as media partner, developed the event identity and delivered a fully integrated PR, digital and social media campaign that brought together developers, operators, local authorities, academics, care providers and Later Life Living specialists to explore the research and its implications for the future of the sector.
The one day conference was just the beginning. CONCRETE's integrated communications strategy will continue with an opinion piece in Building Magazine and a RIBA publication launching in November to coincide with Intergenerational Fairness Day, ensuring the research reaches new audiences, continues to shape the conversation around the future of Later Life Living and reinforces Cartwright Pickard's position as a recognised leader in the sector.
With the publication already available to pre-order through Amazon, the RIBA Bookshop and directly from Cartwright Pickard, interest in the research is building ahead of its official launch, extending the conversation well beyond the conference itself.
Research has little value if it stays on the shelf.
